0.30 carats, GIA certified F colour and VS1 clarity, set on a slim band of 18K rose gold.
Rose gold changes the arithmetic of a colourless diamond. The alloy is copper-heavy — that is where the pink comes from — and copper is a warm reflector. Only the metal actually touching the stone returns light into its pavilion, so in a fine claw setting the effect is contained, but it is real: the diamond picks up a faint warmth at the points of contact. Starting at F, the last colourless grade, is what keeps the stone reading white against a warm mount rather than blending into it.
VS1 sits one step above the eye-clean threshold. At 0.30 carats that is not something you will see; it is something the report records, and it is the difference between a stone that is clean and one that is clean with margin.
The same weight in cooler metal: 0.30 ct F VS2 in white gold. In yellow, with a tapered shank: 0.30 ct E SI1.
